8 locations, broad programming, and no single system tying it together
Every location had its own wrinkles, and the weight of that complexity fell on a small team, especially Nate Vera, the owner. "Monday morning from like 8 to 11, my phone rings like a million times," Nate said of summer camp season. Kids showed up to the wrong locations. Boys registered for girls-only weeks. Families who'd signed up for camp weeks that no longer existed arrived expecting a roster that wasn't there. "There's no easy way for us to check and manage everything."
Behind the scenes, staff were cross-referencing spreadsheets to match members to sessions across sites. The website made it worse: registration links pointed to the wrong locations, and the team couldn't confirm whether a gym-closure email had actually gone out.
