Prepared to grow fast, and needing a partner that could grow with them
Socceroof came to Bond already running six facilities and planning to expand further, city by city. The challenge wasn't a system that was failing them. It was finding a partner built for that pace: one where a scheduling setup built for a handful of locations wouldn't strain once it had to run ten, across different time zones, currencies, and tax regimes.
Online rentals were the clearest place growth could stall if the platform didn't keep up. Customers had to create an account just to see what a field would cost. On mobile, where more than 80% of customers arrive, that friction was worse. Long-term team rentals (bookings that could run weekly for three to six months) meant back-and-forth emails and manual invoicing, with no automated payment plan and no easy way for a recreational team to split the cost among players.
